Since we opened our doors in 1997, Capital City Millwork has been known as the place to go to for all hardware and millwork products to complete new or remodeled houses. However, few people know that our products can be found in dance studios, hotels, educational centers, senior living facilities, churches, restaurants, multifamily buildings and student housing projects across the nation. Many of these commercial buildings are new construction, but we have not lost focus on renovation projects.

In January of 2012, Capital City Millwork was happy to add Tony Crommes to our staff. Tony started his career in the building industry twenty five years ago at a Columbus area lumber company. During his fifteen years with them, he worked retail, was an outside sales representative, held a managerial position, and was eventually the operations manager of their Architectural/Commercial Door and Hardware Department. After his time there, Tony spent ten years traveling as an outside sales representative for Huttig Building Products. Tony's experience brings much that we can offer to our customers with their needs for commercial based products and projects.

We are also very proud to announce that we have become a member of the Columbus Apartment Association. Founded in 1969, the Columbus Apartment Association (CAA) was created to serve the needs of the multifamily housing industry. The CAA received its charter for an affiliated association of the National Apartment Association (NAA) in 1970. Since then, it has maintained strong leadership and membership. Starting with a few members and growing to over 330 members, CAA currently represents more than 104,000 multifamily units.
