Much of this material comes from old barns and buildings, found across America. The hand hewn beams and wide planks are genuinely old, and feature beautiful colors and patinas that only come with age. This material can be remilled into flooring, moldings, mantles, custom furniture or many other items. The vintage hand hewn beams are often used as timber frames, exposed trusses, open beam ceilings, exposed headers and rustic mantles. Reclaimed lumber is not only prized for its beauty, it is also dry, stable and dense – this make it less likely to warp, twist or shrink. In addition, it is environmentally friendly, as it uses trees that have been cut decades ago while conserving our nation’s forests.
