At Capital City Millwork we pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of our material. 95% of the material we use comes from Holmes County in Northeastern Ohio. With numerous lumber yards to choose from in the mid-west, we have found the material from Holmes County to be of the highest quality. The craftsmanship and detail put into the material, whether it be new or reclaimed, surpass local competitors.
Throughout our years of operation, we have tried a few different lumber suppliers, but the Holmes County lumber mill keeps us coming back and always keeps us happy. Our friends at the lumber yard are more like family and we know we can rely on them to provide top quality material for us year after year.
The large Amish population in the area is partially responsible for the superiority of the Holmes County mill. Amish craftsmen and lumber yards hold their products to a particularly high standard of quality, and that standard is passed on to the material we use at Capital City Millwork. The Holmes County mill is not a big chain manufacturing facility, so we know that all products are inspected and cared for properly before being shipped. Quality control is something the employees at the mill pride themselves on because each of the finishing touches are done completed by hand; there are no assembly lines and each piece is made one-by-one.
The Holmes County mill offers many variations of size, type of wood, and color, which allows us to offer the most variety to our clients. We appreciate the level of trust we put into Holmes County mill and their precision and craftsmanship never disappoint. It is our goal to keep our clients happy in the end, and we know our material can do just that.
